ABOUT ME

How it started
About 10 years ago, I began working in Digital Marketing, focusing on innovative growth without expanding teams. Automation, data (quality), AI tools, even changing business models were all topics I have worked on. I soon realized that achieving the desired change(s), relied heavily on getting other teams to change how they worked, and how lack of understanding human behavior, company culture and poor leadership guidance can get in the way of that.

What drives me
I live by this quote from Simon Sinek; if you don’t understand people, you don’t understand business.
When I dedicated myself entirely to Organizational Change, I noticed that many changes are led solely with change models. They are helpful and necessary, but not sufficient. Change requires great emotional- and social intelligence. I followed my passion and decided to took it a step further by, by getting certified in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), which provided me with a much deeper understanding of people’s behavior.

Personal
I love to travel and just being in other countries (my dream is to live abroad, again). In my free time, I enjoy having coffee or dinner with friends or taking Pilates classes. When I’m at home or on the go, I enjoy expanding my mental horizons as well. I slay books and listen to numerous of podcasts.

My VISION

Tapping into the organization’s own change capacity, is the most effective and sustainable way to create change.

Not only is change no longer occasional, and thus investing in change capabilities is very useful, the other thing I noticed is that too much of what gets labeled as change management shouldn't rest with a change manager at all, it belongs with the people inside.

It has been proven to be the most effective way as well. From my perspective, a change manager's real value lies in enabling people ín the company, overseeing the change, offering support on the human complexity that can't be scripted: the resistance, the unspoken dynamics, the moments where people get stuck and assessing the broader structure people operate in (work isn’t happening in a vacuum).

Too many times I led changes, and as I walk out of the door, so does the expertise. Leaving me feeling unfulfilled. I believe companies already carry the capacity to change. My job is to stand next to you and help you utilize it.

My experience

The quickest way to see my experience and the logos I’ve worked with is to go to my LinkedIn.

In a nutshell, typical change projects I worked on:

  • New strategy execution

  • Datadriven- or digital cultural change

  • Implementation of digital products requiring large-scale adoption

  • Building new departments and integrating in companies processes

  • Continuous improvement projects like enhancing data quality

  • Set-up strategies for change

I have also conducted numerous workshops for companies looking to enhance their change skills.
